Arsinoi Pilou is an emerging cinematographer based in Athens. She was born in 1996 and raised in Corfu, Greece. She graduated from the "Film Department" of the Fine Arts Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2017-2018 she studied cinematography at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema of IPL , in Lisbon where at the same time she collaborated in the making of several short films. She started working in 2015 as a camera assistant in the feature film “Kissing?” by Yannis Korres that won the “Best First Time Director” award by the Hellenic Film Academy. Since then, she has been working in numerous audiovisual projects, narrative, commercials, documentaries, fashion and music videos, as a camera assistant and operator. In 2017 she contributed in the short documentary “Trapped” directed by Nikos Pilos that, amongst other awards, won 2nd prize in the WorldPress Photo Awards. Her recent work as a cinematographer “Bearcave” directed by Krysianna Papadakis and Stergios Dinopoulos won the best film award “Golden Dionysus” at DISFF 2023 and has been officially selected in several international festivals. In the summer of 2023 she completed the shoot of her debut feature film as a cinematographer “Bearcave” (the feature). 

She is currently looking for inspiring international collaborations that will expand her visual horizons and create a universe of exciting stories.
